being an aspie, i'm very proud to possess several traits that have helped me (with lots of efforts for sure) complete my B.A. degree. however, now, i'm very confused what i should do next. i'm a young aspie, so i really look forward to learning from the insight of my seniors. please let me know your opinion. #1: I should continue to learn my M.A. degree in TESOL at my home country right now, and work at the same time. After 2.5 years, I will have an MA and earn more $. this sounds good if I can continue to pretend to be normal, because teaching also involves a lot of social interaction. so, i intend that i will earn a PhD. in linguistics, or pragmatics to become a professor, doing research rather than teaching, and accept a very academic-oriented life #2: find a scholarship in MBA, which sounds very popular and i'll be able to find a lotta positions for it, economist, planne (i.e. doing with the theory of economics rather than practicing it). this is possible if i can find a scholarship (at a 4reign institution at best) #3: shift to IT. it's likely that i'll succeed with computer just like any other aspie (autismandcomputing.org.uk). scholarships are rather easy to find in this field. i may get a loan and work in 10 yrs to return the school fee. let me know your expert opinion. thanks ^^ #4: my cousin is advising me to apply for a radio reporter at the national radio.there i can use my strength and avoid social interaction. |
